Being officially recognized as an international instrument, the Global Compact describes ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment protection and anti-corruption which are now followed by the crew of “Savushkin Product” as well. According to these principles, businesses should:

  1. support and respect the protection of human rights;
  2. make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses;
  3. uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective agreement;
  4. uphold the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
  5. uphold the effective abolition of child labour;
  6. uphold the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation;
  7. support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
  8. undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility;
  9. encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies;
  10. work against corruption in all its forms.
By joining the Global Compact, “Savushkin Product” did not only demonstrate commitment to the ten universally accepted principles of socially responsible business but also proved once again how open and clear their business is.
